Big Boy!

Earlier this week we had Emmett's 2-month doctor visit. We learned that he is 25" long and weighs 13lbs 3oz! This places him in the 97th percentile for height and 95th for weight - both percentages were around 75 when he was born. It was sad to see him receive his vaccinations, except for the roto virus one, liquid drops which he sucked down like they were candy (the clinician said she has never seen a baby do that before!)

We were relieved to hear that he is growing so well, and we are enjoying him so much. He is smiling, cooing, giggling and "conversing" with us more and more each day. He slept through the night for the first time on Wednesday evening which was pretty awesome, but otherwise, as long as he stays on his schedule, only wakes up once a night at about 4am - not bad at all!

Trying out the Bumbo seat for the first time, thank you Auntie Radhika!

They sure don't get much air time here on the blog, but Cleo and Otis are doing just great. They seem to regard Emmett as one of the pack, and are only mildly interested in him. They've shown no aggression - protectiveness, if anything. Although they have accepted their demotion with grace and dignity, they LOVE having visitors for all the extra attention!

Can't wait to see everyone in New York next week! Family reunion, Baptism, Camp... busy times but we're looking forward to having all the extra hands around for help!!
